Lock a Note

⚠️ For security purposes, please note that a new password cannot be set without knowing the old one. Be sure to save your password in a secure place, such as a trustworthy password manager, to avoid losing access to your locked notes.

Use a Password to Lock Notes

To lock a note, click the lock button. You will be prompted to set up a password. Remember that you cannot change your password without knowing the old one.

Once locked, your note’s content is encrypted. To unlock it, click the unlock button on the note card or in the editor, then enter your password.
